I don't have to many, but I do use all I have. God bless. Penny

I meant to pay more attention, but I just packed up my room for moving. I bought one in CA on a trip at Bear's Quilt Shop, a Less-than-traditional quilt for doing wedding rings I think it was. Well the thing broke as I was entering my hotel room. Kept it but never used it yet. $17.00 for that.

Ditto to the ditto. I prefer making flying geese the old way.

There is a trick to using the long rulers. Keep your little finger on the fabric close to the ruler and never run your rotary past the top of your hand. When your rotary gets to the top, move your thumb up, then walk your hand up the ruler using your thumb as an anchor. When I cut drapery fabric (27" folded) or sports weight (30" folded)I want the longest ruler available.

Now that I hearing you all talking about triangle rulers I think I may be sorry I just purchased the Fon and Porter one.
I also got hooked on a neat ruler at quilt show in the spring but have yet to even take it out of the plastic.
They make it look so easy to use.

Someone once gave me a 24 x 1 1/2 inch ruler. I haven't found a use for it yet, but, hi, I've only had it for about 5 years - surely something will come up that I will need it.

That would be something I would cut my fingers on as there's no surface large enough to safely cut anything. OUCH!!!

I was considering buying two sizes of this ruler. Thanks for the heads up.

I have what sounds like the same tool and love to use it. <G> Check out the "Piping Hot Binding" and "Piping Hot Curves" by Susan Cleveland. Wonderful effects you can easily get with that tool and the tiny piping cord. <G>

Great way to add just a hint of color in seams or between borders or at the binding.
