I know someone can answer this question.I am making a quilt for a charity.when we make them we put them together a certain way,sew around the edges and leave enough of an opening to turn them right sides out and then finish by hand tying.I can't for the life of me remember what the sequence is to put them together
like-top right side up,bottom right side down, on top of the top, then the batting.is that right

Did you sew with the batting on the top or bottom? Your way would work if you did it with batting on the top.
Or you could lay batting down backing right side up and top right side down.

the batting goes first

Lay fabrics right sides together,lay batting on wrong side of one of the fabrics, sew around edges,leave opening...then when you turn it right side out,the batting will be on inside between layers. Hope that is clear lol
