Santa came early
I took my old serger in the shop because it had loops and loops an loops. tried everything and they told me two springs for the tension were not good any more and they can not get new ones. I use my surger a lot so they had a bernette b44 on sale and I got it new for $399. Have not tried it yet because had to put all sewing stuff away for company to sleep in here. I read the book and it does a lot of different things. I bought my old one about 10 yrs age from a friend for $150 dollars. i guess I got my worth out of it.

Doing the happy dance for you. New machines are always so fun and exciting. Getting to play with them, getting acquainted with it, checking out all the bells and whistles. Enjoy and have fun. :)

Have fun with your new machine! Isn't it just killing you to not be able to play with it right away? :D |
I would agree that you got your monies worth out of your 10 yr old machine...and how exciting to have something new to replace it. Congratulations on your new toy.
Getting a new machine! Yeah! And then getting a good deal, Priceless!
Congrats! Santa must have felt that you have been exceptionally good this year.
Wonderful. Merry Christmas!
Congratulations on your new toy. Yes you certainly did get your worth out of the old serger.
Merry Christmas! I'm so happy for you. Enjoy!
Sounds like you got an early Christmas present! Congratulations!
Congratulations and Merry Christmas! I just love having a place where quilters can come and share good news with people who are genuinely happy to celebrate with you or to help others with problems. And as fellow quilters, we've certainly had experience with both!

Enjoy your new serger!
Congrats on your early present.
There are so many fun projects to enjoy with your new toy. |
Congrats on your new serger! :) I have a Bernette serger too. You'll enjoy it.
Merry Christmas. It is actually a good thing to have time to look over your manual anticipate the pleasure of working with your new serger. Enjoy!
Congrats on your new serger! I've been using one my mother purchased in 1988 and it's on its last legs. I had it in to the shop for service a few months ago because it had a problem and got the same "difficult to get parts" message. Since coming home from the shop it consistently breaks one of the needle threads, no matter what adjustment I make. I'm ready to give up and shop for a new one. I doubt I'll get the deal you did, but maybe boxing day sales might help.

Yes I am at witts end because I cleaned up the sewing room so my HB can move one of the trundle beds in here because, My Mom snores and My daughter snores. My Mother is 104 yrs old so she needs her own room for xmas.
How wonderful for you! A new serger, yippee! The New Year will bring lots of time playing and sewing with it!
