Sashing
 

I am making a tshirt quilt. The blocks are going to be 13" squares. What size sashing strips would you use?

probably would depend on how large you want the quilt to be. 2 or 2 1/2 would be my initial guess.

i have to make one for my dgd graduation in may. better get busy, i think.

I normally use 2-1/2" cut, 2" finished

quiltstringz is right. With that size block I would go 2 in finished.

I made a T shirt quilt for my daughter. I used 2.5 inch strips and it turned out great.

We use 2" finished sashing.
