Sashing widths?

I have finally finished my kaleidoscope blocks and need to think about sashing them. What size do you usually use to make the sashing, what width. I think I'll make corner-stones on the sashing but just not sure what width to make them.

Depends on the finished size of the quilt you want

I think it also depends on the size block. If the are small, like six inch, a 1-1/2 inch sash would look nice. Or 2-1/2 inches for a bigger block.

I have made them anywhere from 1 inch to 3 inch. Depends on the size of block. You can lay your blocks out on the sashing fabric to see what looks good to you. Your cornerstones will be the same size as your sashing.

I agree. It depends on the size of your blocks. Try out various widths and see what you think look right. Normally I go for anywhere between 1.5" to 2" finished but then I am making mostly lap quilts.
