Has anyone gone to this show and is it worth the $10, to get in. I'm either in a wheelchair or scooter, so that means $20, because of hubby taking me.

I think there was a group from the board meeting up there
http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-103924-1.htm maybe PM some of them and ask if they liked it |
I've gone to the show for the last 2 years and am going tomorrow, and YES, I think it's worth it. You cannot exhibit the same quilt twice in that show, so it's new every time.

Since your husband is going due to your challenge I think it would be appropriate for you to explain that and ask that he attend free as he is there to assist you. Go and have fun! Then post all about it.

Kat Then I found some beautiful fabric from there quilt shop, marked-down. What a steal. Then as we were leaving hubby found the museum, that had all kinds of old things from 50's and older. Wringer washers, wooden bicycles, cars and trucks from the 40's and 50's. So, he got to see things that he likes to look at, also. So a great day for both of us. |
