Wow Watson! I've been following your posts since you joined this board & I have been totally impressed by your progress & the work that you do. I love the fact that you aren't afraid to tackle ANYTHING. I want to be like you when I grow up. :) You did a fantastic job on that quilt repair & your sister will be thrilled with it.

My sister really loved the quilt and is only going to use it for photo shoots as grand children come along.

I too have been following your progress and am duly impressed with the tasty lemonade that you made from a lip puckering lemon. It is amazing how that tulling kind of disappears into the quilt itself. Some quilters use that for shading on a quilt in order to make a light area darker or a dark area lighter or to make a shadowy or reflective effect. It turned out to be one terrific fix. Guess from now on we will be asking you for help in restoring antique quilts. Sounds like your sister knows a good fix when she sees it and will know how to take care of it and the work you did on it. Bet you are her favorite sibling now. Ha!

Wow, I'm impressed also. You did very, very good work on this quilt. I have one, I'm gonna have to fix. It belonged to one of my favorite Aunts. She taught me how to sew when a little girl. I've got to re-read all of this before I start tho'.
