Saw it on Bee in my Bonnet
I was just looking at Bee in my Bonnet and she was using a small board to place her cut pieces on and it was trimmed in gingham. Does anyone know if I can get that somewhere?

If you look on her site, she gives you directions on how to make them. :)

Oh good! Thank you!

those are cute!

at retreats we've twice had these as "favors"--one made out of think plywood covered in flannel, the other was foam board with batting covering.

My quilty friend made me a couple for Christmas, one about 10" square, the other about 14. Very Handy!! I'm toying with the idea of making a half dozen or so to arrange complex blocks to take to the machine.

Awesome! I am going to make some of those for me..next some for my friends!!

Cute! I wonder how she attaches the edge fabric? The tutorial doesn't tell that part.

You use a glue gun to attach the edge fabric which looks like binding. They are easy to make and I have it on my list to make myself a couple since I have just started a sew along with a Modern guild which is doing Jen Kingwell’s Long Time Gone quilt. |
