Is there an easy way to do a scalloped edge border? I'd like to try it but I'm not sure how to do it????

go to tutorials section.. Eddie did a great job showing how to do them.. I think the title is Tutitorial on scalloped borders, or just do a search. Lots of good info there.

I did this one. much easier than the scalloped baby quilt where i did the scallops with too deep an area to put binding on easily.
YOu can measure your sides and use paper to draw out the scallops and lay that template over the border fabric and trace. then do the top and bottom, stitch on the lines drawn before you trim to add binding.

I always make a template when I do these. I tape a few pieces of paper together for it. I measure from top to bottom and find out what it is divisible by then take a compass and draw out the curves.

One thing I've found that helps me is that the paper should be as wide as your border for the visual. Depending on the width of the border and the impact that you want is how deep you go into the curve. Scallops can give a huge impact and more of them, IMO, is not always the best way to go.
