Hi: I'm new to quilting and want to make an angled, different-width of scraps border. I saw one once and just fell in love with it, but I can't figure out how to make it. The pieces were all different widths, some angled to the right, some to the left. I can't decide how to do a strip set that would give me that effect when I cut off 4-1/2 in segments from the strip. Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thanks.

Welcome from Portland, Oregon.
I am not terribly experienced myself. Perhaps you may want to look in tutorials, they have a wealth of experienced quilters here. There may be what your looking for in there. Also there are some wonderful people on here that know other links to go too.
Good luck,
Faith

one of the options I tried is to take office adding machine tape and sew different width fabrics to it one after the other until I had the desired length for my baby quilt.
