I buy cheap scissors and have them all over the place to cut whatever is in hand. My GOOD ones are in a box, on a shelf. My husband understands my ranting about someone cutting other than fabric with my sewing ones.

Yes. These scissors are bent. They should not look like this. I'm not going to straighten them because they cut fine and straightening may change that fact.

I don't think they're "worth" sending to the US to have fixed. (I paid $15 for them so to spend more than $30 to fix them is questionable economy)

I think I knew they were bent when I saw the gap was "V" shaped between the handle and the blades but hoped they weren't.

Paper has clay or other binding substances in it to hold the fibers together. That's why you don't clean eye glasses with kleenex. The clay fibers can scratch the surface of the lens and dull your sewing scissors.

Gingher has a service if you look on the Internet, for about $7.50 they will sharpen their scissors and return them to you. I know people that have done that and they come back nice an sharp.
