anniedeb, I had the same problem! My sewing buddy passed away and I had promised her to help her husband deal with the SEWING ROOM and garage. I went to the dollar store and bought the plastic bins. I separated the fabrics by colors and sides. i had 2 Quilter's Sales in our neighborhood. I only advertised to local quilt guilds. I sold a lot of the fabrics and notions and books. Now I am integrating it into my Storage room. I am going to teach local children to sew, giving them sewing kits. This is what my friend wanted. Good luck!
