Scrappy HST - Which Pattern?
 

I am using up scraps making HST with the Magic 8 method. But am not sure what will look best for the top.
The Random, the Stripes (kinda stripes), or the Diamond?
What do you think?

I vote for diamonds! This will be really pretty!

I like the stripes (#2). For me, it's visually the most simple, and I like the pattern in a scrappy quilt to counterbalance the busy combination of all the fabrics. Whatever you choose will be great!

Well shoot!! I have been working my little (not so much wish it was) butt off, making HST's for the My Carolina Home's Scrap Dance Waltz. If you have so many already made, you have to check out the pattern. BTW she also has two others--Scrap Dance and Scrap Dance Tango, plus the Scrap Dance Two Step that is the new mystery pattern this year.

I vote for the third/diamond design.

I prefer the diamond one but any of the 3 would make a nice quilt.

I like the third picture-it looks like pinwheels and that is one of my favorite designs. But that is just my personal opinion.

All are nice but my favorite is #3. ;-)

I like the diamonds but the others are great looking quilt too..

I just want to say I like those hst' s. Anyway you sew them together.

Just watched Eleanor burns June webinar-Ocean Waves- Great way to use up scraps...I just ordered the pattern from QIAD - accuquilt/Eleanor Burns version...

first one or the third one would be good.

Just play around until you are happy..... so many choices....

Number 3 gets my vote!

They are all nice but I like the third - it's all personal preference.

The third one is most pleasing to my eye. Whatever you choose will be nice.

Diamonds is my first choice. They are all pretty.

I like the first on the best, but they are all pretty. I think the reason I like the first one is the light and dark colors alternating.

I started sharing my scraps with a friend who works with leaders and enders. There is a bag by the trash can and I decide on a whim if it's a scrap I want to keep, a scrap for the bag, or if it's not worth keeping so in the trash it goes. That has helped contain my scrap heap and makes a friend happy.

I like the second one. I made a scrappy half sq triangle quilt and made one side light the other side dk and when arranged in that order they really looked sharp Good luck in what ever your choice is
