I was patching jeans and took them off the machine and there was a screw that had to come from the machine but I can't find anywhere it goes. I've looked everywhere. Its an Janome 11000 and I took the arms off so I can sew the jean and I didn't hear it fall out. We opened up the machine can't find where it goes. Any ideas thanks

Does patching jean mean : repairing? In that case could it have been in 1 of the pockets?
|
Could it be from the presser foot. Some of mine have a screw in the back and one fell out one time and I couldn't figure where it came from for a while
|
Is it a set screw or a regular screw?

I find that if you wait long enough, the home for the screw will pipe up and make itself known eventually. :)

That's a good thought! I had that happen once. The screw is still in my sewing box and the machine is still sewing away.

Did you check the back of the presser foot or the ankle? There is a screw that holds the quilting quide in place.
