so this morning I woke up and the computer had bit the dust. I now am limited in my time on the computer by the library hours.

I'm afraid I won't be able to join our chat next week...(sad face) so I went ahead and opened my box. Joan, I LOVE the book and the fat quarters! they're awesome! Thank you so much!

I wish I could join in the rest of you on the chat, but sadly the library is not open at that time...therefore I'll be missing out...

There are 10 who have not received their Secret Santa package yet. I am concerned about a couple of them that they won't arrive in time for the chat on December 7th, as they were just mailed.

There is one person that I have not heard back from as to whether they have received their parcel and mailed theirs out. I am hoping that nothing is wrong, and that quilting Christmas presents is keeping them busy.

Christmas mail will be starting to slow things down, I was hoping the packages would get to their destinations before holiday mail started. I have my fingers and toes crossed that the last few packages reach their destination.

Boston I am sorry to hear you will not be able to join us for chat. I hope you had fun participating. :)

My opinion? If you can fulfill an obligation, then why sign up for something? Sure, being a bit late is not ok, mine was and I have no good excuse for it, but to wait until last minute to send out is wrong and to NOT send out is even worse!

That is too bad that some are not meeting the deadline or commitment. :cry: I was sweating what to get my exchange and rushed to get it out on time as this was my first time and I didn't want others to think poorly of me. I just hope it all works out in the end.
But on a good note, my box has been quite today ! No voices calling out to me ! :lol:

Oh no!!! Those packages may have bunched up under Santa's seat to keep warm and just haven't been found ...YET!!! Those stinky little elves need to get busy, clean up that sleigh and find those boxes! I sure hope they get delivered soon!

My box moved a little last night by itself. I still hear some peeping coming from it and its warm when I touch it. What does that mean?

Are we still short for some of these people NOT recieving packages from their SS??I missed out on the postings that some have NOT recieved packages. And, I do hope that you keep a running list of people that did not follow the exchange for future exchanges. If the swappee is not in good standing, they should not participate in the future. I've been in many exchanges, swaps in the years and this is normal to keep a no-no list. Life can happen, but, there are ways to not let someone else down. If I need to, I will pick up someone elses or 2 to make sure they have a smile on the 7th like the rest of us. There is no sense for someone to be left out...do pm me Shadow if I can help out here...Skeat

Hi, well I found out that one of Santa´s reindeer needed a new shoe so he had to go back to lapland, but I know he is coming because someone sprinkled some stardust and wow I am so lucky to have such wonderful friends on this board.

I have no clue who my Secret Santa is. I guess if I spent some time working on it I could, but well..... :wink: I think that is part of the fun ! :lol: LOL The box has been pretty quiet ( must be) or my son would be complaining and throwing it out of his room ! Everyone have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING !

Mine is still making some noise. All the food in the dish is gone, but I found out it's MY cats eating it. UGH! I thought whatever little critter was in the box was Houdini and getting out.

I to have an idea of my SS, but maybe they went to a different town to mail it to throw me off. HMMMM! Can't wait!

I've done that when we do Secret Sisters for the boat. I would drive a couple towns over and mail the cards and they would never know lol

Skeat makes a good point. It has happened in other swaps I've been involved in, too.
