JoAnn's is giving seniors (must have ID to prove you are 60 years old or more) a 15% discount off your total purchase this Wednesday, December 10th. It includes regular and sale priced items, is at all stores, is all day long and does not require a coupon.

The small print reads: cannot be combined with any other discount or coupon, does not include previous purchases, purchase of gift cards, sewing machines or sewing machine department merchandise, Cricut machines and cartridges. Not valid at Joann.com.

Not a huge deal, but better than full price, right?

i don't know if anyone else has gone, BUT.....

it was definitely worth the time it took out of my day. all the Debbie Mumm fabrics that i looked at recently were 50% off and then another 15%. i was in fabric heaven. my husband said i died from joy and didn't know enough to lie down! when you added the 15% to the sale prices it was great. especially since some of their fabrics never come down to meet the 40% coupons but go on dippy sales so you can't use the coupons at all.

if you haven't gone and you read this today, and you're a senior (it has to be good for something) go go go!

I'm not there yet, age wise. It is always to get a good buy on something isn't it?

I'm SO glad you got some good stuff, butterflywing! I never would have known about the senior discount day if I hadn't been handed the notice for it when I was at the store last week (they meant for me to give it to my mother, right? :lol: ). I think they tried to keep it quiet cuz nothing came in the mail about it!! :? Debbie Mumm has some beautiful fabrics...you'll have to show us what you make from what you got!

there's something wrong with my scanner and i'm waiting for a return email from epson, or i would show off my purchases, not just from today, but from their sales before i knew about this special (aren't they all?) sale.

the scan function keeps telling me that it was interrupted, as though i don't realize that myself.
