Setting Triangles

My blocks are 14.5 inches and of course I don't have enough of my background fabric to make my setting triangles. Any ideas to make my fabric stretch. I'm thinking of cutting smaller triangles and adding another fabric to make my triangle the correct size. Is there a tute somewhere.

You might try Bonnie Hunter's Quiltville site.

I've seen setting triangles made as string blocks that were very attractive. It might go along with your mail quilt pattern though.
