I saw this on Facebook....I love it....does anyone know what the pattern is?
I don't know but I'll be watching this thread -- I'd like to know too! Beautiful!
similar but not the same http://ajpadilla.com/tutorials/folded-fabric-flowers
I liked that tutorial...Thanks
They look like cathedral windows, without the windows being "opened."
looks like some sort of folded hydrangea but no sure - very pretty - would love to make it also
This is a hydrangea. It's from Kumiko Sudo's book Fabled Flowers. You can see someone's version at this website:
http://quiltingroom.blogspot.com/2007/11/monthly.html This is the book: http://www.amazon.com/Fabled-Flowers.../dp/0844226459 And here's one from a member of the QB: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...d-t127691.html They are beautiful, aren't they! |
I don't know the pattern. But, it is lovely. You could always ask the person on FB that you borrowed the picture from what the pattern is.? But, it sure looks like we have some really informed QB'rs. :)

Isn't this from the book "Fabric Origami"?
I made one from www.petalplay.com. It is different than this but really unique. I don't have a picture right now to post. It is 3D. You weave the basket and the flowers are 3D.
