Sew Essentials Cutting Table

Does anyone have one of these? Do they hold up pretty good? I see that it has only 3 stars for a review.

Don't have one but have looked at them as well.

Sorry, no I don't have it or no anyone who does. It just looks to unstable and flimsy to me for the price.

I use a drafting table. Also can use it for drafting patterns.

Look on CL for tables. I bought an older, but very nice, professional cutting table for $40.

I bought it Black Friday a couple years ago and use it all the time. It's not flimsy but not super sturdy either. I haven't had any trouble with it. I bought the cutting mat for it as well and love the whole ensemble.

DH purchased a similar model for me several years ago from Keepsake Quilting. Don't know if it's the same manufacturer or not. Yes, I did have a couple of screws fall out for the stop under the table top for one of the folding legs but otherwise it's been great. Love the fact that I can fold it up and store it behind the futon in my sewing room (although I couldn't tell you the last time I did that!). It's a tad tall for me but I'm fairly short (5' 2") and find that reaching the full width of the table can be difficult. I put towels on top and use it for a large pressing surface as well. Or, have my cutting mat at one end and a towel at the other so I can do trimming/pressing on the same surface. Have a small (8x10) room to work in and it has to multi-function as much as possible. Overall, I'm very pleased with the table.

After reading the reviews, I believe I'd keep looking for something else.

I don't know if mine is that brand or not. It was bought from JoAnn's about 10 years ago. Mine only has 1 fold out leg on each side - not the two that are seen on Joann's website. Mine is currently set up (semi-permanently) in my foyer. I used to have it stored in the garage and would bring it out and in. I decided that was too much trouble. So all guests have to walk by it to get into the house (hee-hee). It's a good thing we don't have many guests.

I really don't remember how much we paid for this but I feel that I have more than gotten my money's worth out of it.
