I just ordered a new machine. The Janome New Home Memory Craft 7700 QCP.
I am so excited. ( I should get it Wednesday 8/14/13 )
I have been sewing on a little brother CS 6000 i ( which has been an awesome little machine.
Does anyone have this Janome? If so, any hints, tricks, quirks I should know about?

I have had a Janome 6600P for over a year and absolutely love it!! Have fun!!!

Congratulations I hope you enjoy it !!!!!! I just purchased my first Janome 8900 last Saturday have my first one on one class today. I had Pfaff that was 15 yrs old and finally died. I had read a lot of great things on here about Janomes plus I wanted tge larger throat space.

I have the 7700 and love it. It is a great machine.

lol Thanks yall. I have been drooling over it for several months. Husband got tired of me hinting and finally gave in. SewingMachinesPlus has 58 $ a month with 0 % financing

I also know how exciting it is to get a new machine. Two weeks ago, I purchased a Babylock Esante that I absolutely LOVE! So best wishes with your new Janome. I hear wonderful things about those machines! :)

Just arrived home from the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham UK. What did I buy when I was there ? JANOME 6600p
It ill be delivered next week. Can't wait.

I also have it and love the large throat space. I'm sure you will love it as well!

I have the 6600 and love it, the running foot is fabulous, I also bought the 1/4 inch running foot. It has a ton of features I haven't even tried yet because I was so excited to use it for quilting. I haven't seen the 7700, the women who own the store I bought my machine from have the 7200 machines and they say they are disappointed they switched from the 6600. Have fun, Janomes are fabulous machines.

I've had my 6600 for more than 2 years, and absolutely love it. I highly recommend getting the FMQ bobbin case!

Thank's yall :) I'm super excited .. is it Wednesday yet??? lol. Does anyone know the difference between the Janome Horizon 7700 and the Janome New Home 7700? I tried google'n it and really can't find anything.

Congratulations on your new "toy". I have a Janome New Home Memory Craft 4000 that I really love. I've lost count of how many quilts, placemats, table runners, Christmas trees and stockings, as well as clothing for our DGD. I've been very happy with the performance of this machine, and I'm sure you will be happy with yours as well. Congrats and happy quilting.

I bought my 7700 a couple of months ago....i love it...does everything you ask of it....hope you love yours as much as i love mine...congratulations .....

Yep!! Love mine too!! Tho tend to use my Janome 760 a lot.....I take it to my classes.....a great little workhorse!

oldtisme, no, I am going to keep it as a backup for when my janome is being serviced etc.. it's been a great little machine, and was my first so i am attached. you can find them at walmart very inexpensive... or you can try craigslist, they may have something in your area fairly reasonable also.

Excited for you. I remember when I brought my Janome home, I was like a little kid on Christmas morning. You're sure to love it.
