Been there, done that, and the quilt top wasn't mine. To be honest, it was one of the first things I did on my long arm. When I successfully removed the stitches without any harm done, it really made me much more relaxed. I figure if i could recover from that, I could recover from any mistake!

Oh yes, I have done this on my longarm a couple of times - its frustruating picking it out.
