Sewing Basket
 

We had our Christmas yesterday (Sunday) and just want to share with you the Christmas present I gave my Granddaughter (12) - a fully equipped sewing basket and I never saw anyone so excited about a gift as she was. So if anyone needs an idea for a girl you may consider that. I have had her do some simple quilt projects but now she can go to town.

I fondly remember my first sewing basket.

Wonderful. : ) What a present for you, also.....a grandchild who wants to quilt and appreciates the present.

The basket of goodies is a great idea! Does she have her own machine to sew with you-? :)

Oh I know! I did this when I gave my niece a sewing machine. It was a great present and she was so happy. I also gave her some hand embroidery supplies.

Great idea. I still have mine. Got it for my 16th BD, 50+ years ago :eek:

I still have the sewing basket my Grandma gave me about 30+ years ago. I'll never part with it.

What a great idea!!! I also still have my sewing basket from high school.

How fun! I got my first sewing basket when I was about that age. It sounds like she's going to have many happy sewing hours.
