Sewing Chair
What do you gals use for a chair at your machine? I can't seem to get comfortable. :-(

Mine is on casters and fabric covered. The seat has storage in it. I've had it since the 80's!

I have a Koala, that was a floor model, a bit pricey but the best chair I have had. Has a great back with a nice lumbar shape to it.

i just use wooden kitchen chair. i find it comfortable
|
i use a backless stool that i can tilt forward. I'm tempted by the bungee chair from the Container Store.

I use my computer chair with a lower back pillow and need the arm rests too. My Pfaff is push button so I don't need the foot thing

I shopped numerous office supply stores and found a comfortable office chair.

DH put our kitchen chairs together from2 sets. An oak set and a 4 task chairs with casters and base from Walmart. Dirt cheap for $10.00 a chair. Caster bases are not cheap. We've had these for about 8-10 years. He took the legs off the oak and put the caster bases on them. they even have the hydraulic lifter. I have one in the sewing room and use a couple cushions. I also sew standing up once in a while. the chairs probably cost us all of $200.00 when you consider we used two sets. So not bad price and I don't sit for hours on them. being able to adjust the height helps.

I purchased one of the medical stools with curved backrest and love it! I can roll all around my room if I want!!
