Sewing Machine Bias Binding Foot

I'm wondering if anyone has tried this. Binding is my least favorite thing and I'm not always happy with the results. If there's a better way I'm all for it but I can't see how the batt would fit in the "slot".

That foot is meant to be used more for fashion sewing and will not work with the thickness of the batting in a quilt binding. If you check YouTube, you will find a lot of quilt binding tutorials.

Also, on Craftsy, Susan Cleveland does a great class that shows a variety of binding techniques as well as giving a very clear, easy to follow demonstration of doing a plain old mitered corner binding.

I have used for pot holders and bags but would not recommend for quilts

Thanks, that's what I thought.
