Today is the day in history - 1846 - when Elias Howe patented his sewing machine.

Amazing it was so long ago. And how much it has changed. We have a whole new world to thank him for. What would we do without our tools??

Sewing and quilting are my therapy...My husband would have left me long ago if I couldn't quilt!

I would probably only have done one or two quilts instead of dozens.
