ok my daughter is trying her new sewing mcahine she says the thread keeps bunching up on her material could the bobbin be in wrong? it is a janome is there a web site to help show threading ect

I had that same problem when I started with my Janome 6600. It turned out I had the bobbin thread in going the wrong direction. My bobbin cover has a picture of how the bobbin is to be put in so I felt very foolish. Luckily I figured it out before I took it to the store.

Also, hold onto both threads when starting to sew :D:D:D

When you put a bobbin in a Janome, I was taught to hold it up so the bobbin forms the circle of a "p" and the string forms the stem. That way the bobbin always goes in correctly.

With my machine the bobbin goes in where it spins counter clockwise and then it latches in the front and you hold it so it pulls out of the left corner away from you. Not sure if that makes much sense but it is the only way I can think to describe it.
