I've wanted a Featherweight 221 for quilting & pretty certain my husband is getting me one for Christmas.
This machine may have nothing to do with quilting but thought some of your members could give me some advice anyway. I have a chance to buy a Singer Style-O-Matic 328 for $50,poss. less. Is that a good machine for quilting or any kind of sewing? Also thinking of my daughter. Thanks. |
I think the 328 is a less collectible vintage machine than others. It would be fine for sewing, though. Price where I am would be closer to $35 in good working condition with bobbin case and all other parts.
Here is a review of it I found: http://zigzaggers.typepad.com/zigzag...model-328.html |
