A friend of mine just brought this to my attention. Thought I should share with ya'll. Barb |
I am glad I just have a simple Janome. I would have been heartsick and terrified if I had one of the recalled machines and it caught on fire.

I own one of these machines that is recalled. You can take it back to the store where you bought it and they will fix the problem. My main problem is that I bought the machine in Texas but I am in Wisconsin until fall. They say to unplug it and not use it until it is fixed. I love my Elna and I don't want to unplug it! What's a person to do?

yikes for $3 grand you would think they would have paid the GOOD employees to make them????

I didn't know Elna was a division of Janome. Thanks for the info.

Following the leads on that line, it seems that darn near everything we buy is, or can be a fire danger. Except for those lovely treadle machines. They should be cherished!!
