Sewing Machine
I am thinking of buying a Janome MC 6300p. Does anyone have one, and if so do you like it? I want one that has a good size opening for quilting, and one that the walking foot will do the job it is suppose to do ( have problems with my currant one). By what I have read it is a sturdy machine...would you recommend it? Or maybe there is another machine that has the same features , I am not totally sure I want that one.just wanting a very reliable one....thank you . Vivian

Visit a dealer and test drive one to see if it is what you want. Take along a practice (sandwich) all basted, ready to quilt so you can see how the walking foot works and judge the throat space

Also visit patternreview.com . You'll find lots of info there--I have a 6600 and its a tank.

Happy sewing on whatever machine you choose! |
I have the Janome 7700 and simply love it. It has the built in walking foot and big harp for bigger quilts. Good luck on your search. :D
