Lots of good advice here on the board... What have you decided?

I had a table that allowed either recessing the machine (tabletop height) or not. But it was lost in a move. I really miss it. My next big purchase will be to replace it,

Hope you find something you like! :)

I free motion quilt with a table that is made for my Janome 1600P-DBX, I love the table and would not be able to quilt with out it.

Yes, highly recommended! I had one for 6 months and loved it! We then bought a house with a sewing/quilting room in it, and my friend said " Sell me your sewing cabinet, you don't need it!" I thought she was right, so I sold it. Miss the cabinet with the drop, even though I have tons of counter space, it really isn't the same. I had no place to put it though, so probably good that I sold it!

I have a table that has the option of having it dropped into the table so that the fabric is flush with the table top, but since I am short, it is too far back; so I drop the table and pull it (the machine) closer to me.
