Sewline fabric glue pens

I was wondering if anyone uses these for applique and if so do you like them. I saw a tutorial for their use along with Floriani Stitich n wash fusible.

I don't use anything else, these pens are great and you dont have to use a lot of glue. I use it for hand applique, when each piece is done I use a cotton tip dipped in water and it disolves to instantly. I cann't comment on the stitch n wash as I have not used it sorry. Im sure other members have more to say.

Thanks for the link. I hadn't tried the pen, but I sure will now. I have tried the stitch n wash and do like it.

Well, isn't that a cool gadget to try! I'll have to watch for that. Thanks for posting.

I have one and actually went back to water soluble school glue. With a good applicator I prefer the school glue. I can also get it in stick applicators. I used way too many Sewline sticks and what wasn't used really hardened and became unusable.

I have used it to glue fabric strips onto rope when I am making rope baskets. It is very quick drying and easy to sew through for that purpose. Don't think it would be any different for applique.

I got one in my Christmas stocking last year and it is still good.
