One of our guild activities is swapping 2 1/2" strips, and November's "theme" is tone on tone. My goal is to use fabrics from my stash for at least half of the months.
The challenge I'm having is that I don't buy a lot of yardage (need at least 1 1/2 yards to get number of strips required). I do have enough of a blue Shadowplay by Moda, but am not sure if this would be considered a ToT - there's not really a print, but it is a blue on blue... What is your opinion? Thank you! |
To me it is a TOT, but maybe some other people have an opinion on it.
I would say so. IMHO
I would consider that a ToT.
That would work. I'd be glad to get it.
I thought that's what a TOT is?.
Thanks, folks! I kept waffling... Not sure if there is a difference between ToT and a blender?
I thought to qualify as a ToT, it might have to have an obvious print. For example, a flower (or whatever) in a darker shade than the background. With your opinions behind me, I'm cuttin' in up - which works really, reallly well as I don't happen to love it anyhow. It's one of those things that I look at and think, "Now what on earth did I buy THAT for?" Backing, maybe? No matter, it's going to be all sliced up! |
