What a deal! Congratulations.
|
Congratulations! Five dollars is quite a deal, I'm so glad it was you that found it and not some other person who just wanted a used machine to patch with.
I'm buying a house with the contents and among a ton of antiques there is a White Rotary machine. It looks more like an old Singer though and has the fancy gold and red swirly stuff all over it. I can't wait to really open up the case and look it over from top to bottom! |
A great deal and a great machine :-D

You definitely got a bargain there - she is beautiful!

What a great machine....love the design and the styling very cool.

Very nice!

Way cool!! You are soooo lucky!!!
This was the same machine that my Mom had when I was growing up -- I made just about everything I wore when I was in school on that machine. After I gradiated from HS she won a New Home and sold the White. I was bumbed -- still am. It had an awesome straight stitch. Mom used to take it completely apart and clean it once a year. |
This is exactly like the machine my mother used to have and what I learned to sew on. Great find!!
|
Such good deals! If I come visit, will you take me yard sale shopping with you? I never find anything like that here!
|
Pam-it was just a "drive by--oh, let's stop". The lawn was totally covered up with stuff--too much really to look at. I'd never seen the case before & wondered what was in it for $5. Opened it up & it was mine!!
