My first ever shop hop tomorrow and Saturday. I am excited. 7 shops total. Will try and get 4 tomorrow and the other 3 Saturday plus a Chocolate Festival on Saturday and an appointment for the dog at he groomer. Wish me luck!

We have our shop hop every Oct and we have a ball! Wish they could have it twice a year :)

I love shop hops. You get to see some out of town stores and lots of sample quilts. Have fun!! We won't have ours until spring.

Shophops are great fun. You will have a blast! Beware tho - they can be brutal on the checkbook/credit card!

Not near Fayetteville, this one is further east Washington, New Bern, Morehead City and Jacksonville.

Wish we shop hops here, but it would be big hops to get to shops. I think the nearest to our local shops (2) are about 3 hours away. I'm jealous.

Day 1 of my shop hopping is done. Didn't buy too much. Kept thinking maybe I'll see something I like better at the next shop. So I would talk myself out of something. The funny thing was I picked DD up from school (1/2 on Fridays) she asked if my niece could go with us. I said sure. They got in the van and we are on our way. Had been on the road for about 10 minutes and they started talking about the stores in the mall. I look at them and said... you do realize we're going to quilt shops, right?? If I only had a camera!! The wound up having a good time. Bought them their own passports. The found a purse pattern and they picked out fabric. I have a feeling though they won't be the ones finishing those purses. Anyway, they are game to go again tomorrow and finish up the rounds. Of course, their is the Chocolate Festival after the quilt shops. And a Michaels store with scrapbooking supplies (that's their hobby) The good thing is the shop hop and chocolate festival complete requirements for one of their school classes to attend 2 community events. So...it's a plus all around.
