My Bernina spoke to me yesterday and said that it needed service. well, at least the screen told me that. Today I took it there, since the owner gave me a special price for it. She gave me a Viking Designer I as a loaner until my Bernina is done. I miss my machine already, even though I have still an excellent machine. I will have to control myself not to call her every day to make sure when is the machine done.

How kind and sweet of her to give you a loaner...that must help a little  while counting down the hours 8)

That was so nice to get a loaner. It would be even harder to wait if you couldn't sew at all.

Hope they get your machine fixed soon. A loaner is nice, but there is nothing like your own machine

Geesh, when my machines break or need servicing I have to do it myself because nobody around here does the vintage machines. The local sewing machine shop sends the vintage ones to me to fix LOL, they wont even bother messing with them.
But its nice of it to tell you it needs to see the doctor. Billy |
I know what you mean, I hate taking my machine in for service, I am always afraid I will have a 'sewing emergency' when it is gone. I usually take things in for routine service when we are going away on vacation so I won't have to miss it.
Good time now to get a bunch of cutting done! |
