Hey everybody!
I am about to take an extended trip across central MS to Little Rock, AR and from there to St. Louis, MO and then back home to AL by way of Memphis, TN---since I have never been to AR or MO, was wondering if anyone from there could give me some quilt shoppes or favorite fabric stores to visit while in the area?

I think it's the quilted fox in STL area and there is another HUGE one there with a family name.

You probably won't be too far from Paducah - Hancock's of Paducah is a MUST SEE! I was there yesterday. I will try to post a picture of the inside of the store soon.

I don't know if your trip will take you anywhere near the Missouri Star Quilt Co. These gals have a great website and i would love to see their shop sometime. Maybe in the Fall. Have fun, send pictures.

Are you talking about Jackman's Fabrics? http://www.jackmansfabrics.com/

They have two awesome stores, one in St. Louis (out in the county) and another one in IL. Their St. Louis store is located at
1234 North Lindbergh
Saint Louis, Missouri 63132-1723
and their phone number is 1-314-994-1060

The Quilted Fox http://www.quiltedfox.com/ is also in St Louis, again out in the county They are located at
10403 Clayton Road
St. Louis, MO 63131
and their phone number is 314-993-1181

There is another one further out down I-44 that is called Susie Q Quilting. I haven't been in this one, and she doesn't have an online store but she does have a website, http://susieqquilting.com/index.htm
She is located at
131B South Central Avenue
Eureka, MO 63025
and her phone number is 636-587-2772

If you will be heading down Highway 55 there is a quilt shop in Arnold Missouri called Your Quilt Shop http://yourquiltshop.net/, again never been there but have heard several people that like them. They are located at
2051 Southway Drive
Arnold, MO 63010
Phone number is 636-464-2929
approximate times

Have a fun trip but more importantly have a safe trip!

P.s The Missouri Quilt Co. is located WAY out in the northwestern part of Missouri unless you are planning a detour through Kansas City that one probably won't fit on the list.

If you take 72E on your return trip to Alabama, you'll come through Corinth. We have a nice quilt shop, Treasure Chest Quilts and more, that is new to the area. It is in the shopping center at 72E and Harper Road, by the Chinese Restaurant. (NE side of road) She is closed Sunday and Mondays.

There is a Joanns Fabrics in North Little Rock, AR. I live a little further west over near Hot Springs, AR and we have a wonderful quilt shop over here called Cathy's Quiltin Square.

Here is a link http://hotspringsquilts.com/

If you decide to head over this way, send me a PM and I would love to meet you there! Gives me an excuse to shop more!

Tracy
