Shops Along the Way
 

We are going down to Houston tomorrow to pick my sister up at the airport early Tuesday morning. Anyone have any suggestions for stops along 59 between Kilgore and the north side of Houston by the airport.

I wish I did. Haven't been there in 20 years. Well to visit but it's changed sooooo much. Have fun!!

I would say if you were going through Giddings to stop at "All around the block" quilt shop. I used to do all my shopping there, and Janice, the owner, is a sweet heart. We used to be in the same guild, too. I don't know where Kilgore is, but if you ever do go down 290 east of Austin and west of Houston, stop there. She has a great shop.

We go down 259, then 59 and go through (or around) Nacogdoches, Lufkin, Diboll, Livingston, Humble and around the airport.
