Should have written it down
I have a fat quarter bundle that I bought just because I HAD TO HAVE IT. No pattern in mind, but I've had several that I thought might work. The other day I saw the perfect pattern. Now I can't remember what it was or where I saw it. I need to start making notes.

I keep a little notebook with my iPad so if something catches my eye, I can write down the address. If it's a picture I found a screen shot. Nothing more frustrating then an idea floating in your head you can't quite grasp!

Okay, lets make a list of where you have been in the past few days. This website? Fabric website(s)? New catalog came in the mail? Quilt shop? Library? Bookstore? Browsing your own bookshelf? or a friend's?
Hope you find that pattern again, or another you like as well. |

If you have a smart phone you might consider using your voice memo, quick & easy for short reminders

I use the snipping tool to get pics of things I like, problem is I forget where I snip them from!
