Looks good to me. As long as the shipping doesn't cancel out the good price.

They sure have lots of colors! It may be worth trying out one spool to see how you and your machine likes it.

that will depend on what you plan to use it for.

it's decent thread, for sure. a 30 wt thread will work nicely as the top thread for machine quilting.

for piecing, though, my preference is to buy at connecting threads.

I have used this thread, and still have some that I will use up some day. It works fine on a regular sewing machine. It is extremely linty though. I bought mine at JoAnn's at half off, so it was cheaper than the web site. I have since changed to Connecting Threads cotton threads. They are cheaper, less linty, and I think the thread is more even and less likely to have a knot or weak spot. Connecting Threads sells the 1200 yard spools for $2.49. They also has 5000 yard spools (great for longarms) for 9.99. They often have sales, and shipping is free over a certain amount. So no, I wouldn't buy it.

I would buy a spool to try it. If you buy a lot and don't like it what do you do with it?.

This is heavyweight thread made for decorative quilting through backing, batting, and top. You would probably use a 90 needle as the 30 wt, 3-ply is heavier than thread usually used for piecing.

I have used this thread. In fact, I just quilted a baby quilt with it. It is very linty for sure, but it is also very strong. Even my old spools are still hard to break. Do use the bigger needle like Polliwog suggested since it is a thick thread. I also use it in my needle punch projects because it is nice and thick and there is lots of it!
