Should I change colors

I've been playing around with a pattern for some paper piecing I think I have the design but I'm not sure of the fabric collection. This is using artisan Batiks Geoscapes E by Lunn Studios.

I would like input please, I am my own worst critic. Right now the size is 90 by 108 should I remove one of the sets of panes and add a border? Is it the wrong fabric? It seems like there is something missing but I can't figure it out. Please ingnore the black lines they are the seam lines.

I appreciate any input. This is a great board.

Is it going to be a bedspread for a bed? If it is then yes I would add a border but it it's just a regular quilt I would keep it as is! It's beautiful!

Really like your design and colors! It reminds me of stained glass windows, which I love.

I think what may be causing you to second guess yourself may have to do with color placement of your golden yellow. It is in either top or bottom position in about half of your rectangles. But since they are not symmetrically arranged/ evenly dispersed this creates movement but it is not fluid movement if you understand what I'm trying to say. So try rearranging the rectangles several different ways and see if that makes a difference in how you feel about it. Maybe start by swapping column 3 and column 4?

Your sashing and cornerstones work great with your "windows".

I think that will be stunning - love the colours

Maybe a small border of the golden color? Just a small one like binding. That is just a suggestion but I think it is beautiful like this.

I think I understand what Mom-6 is saying about the golden yellow. This could be because each column is made up of identical panels. Maybe moving them around and mixing them up would add the spark your looking for. I love your design idea as it makes me think of stained glass. Perhaps either a single thin outside black border framing all the panels or each individual panel or column? Just a suggestion. It's going to be beautiful in the batiks you've chosen.

I like it. The only thing I might change is to remove the cornerstones (or find a way to add them to the outer corners of the panes), since they are all on the interior.
