I am putting together a retirement quilt wallhanging for a teacher. I gave them 12 squares to decorate, and got back 9. I sewed them together, but need to decide whether to have a 45" square wallhanging or if I should add to the top and bottom so it will be 45" by whatever! Do you think it would look funny if it were square? It would be so much easier that way!

No problems being square here!

There are no standards when it comes to wall hangings. Square is just fine!!

Square is fine.
If you wanted to be perverse, you could put blank squares with the names of whoever did not return them in the quilt top. :hunf: |
No it won't look funny square. Quilts are generally rectangular because our beds are
