I'm hoping someone here can help me out....
I'm considering entering a small quilt in the county fair. I've never done this before and I have a question. Should I put a label on the back as I normally would? I can't find anything in the rule book for the fair that says anything about it one way or the other. Thanks |
Yes!!!!

I would

I know at our fair they don't want the creator indentified. The name is hidden on the entry tag, too. i'm entering one that will be given as a gift after the fair. I have the label made but will wait till afterward to slipstitch it on.
contact the fair office or dept. committee for clarification on rules |
Check with the fair organizers.

Yes put it on and then stitch some fabric over it to hide the label.
|
Most definitely!
|
The easiest way is to put the label on then put painters tape (blue stuff) over the name to hide it. I wouldn't put a quilt in any competition without a label on it just for safety.

I would put a lable on it. At the local shows I have entered, a piece of masking tape was used to cover names on the back of the quilt. And since it is only there for a few days, no harm is done to the quilt.
Good luck! peace :D |
Without a label, it could end up going home with the wrong person. :D:D:D
