one problem with unpicking is that the fabric will have been trimmed or distorted, and remaking it will change the character of what you are doing, so if you want to redo it, I would change the piecing slightly or whatever.

No quilt is perfect. Learn from it and grow your quilt making skills. When I make something, I see ALL the flaws but the recipients usually just see the end result and my time, effort and love put into something for them. Keep on keeping on with the quilting.

My sentiments exactly! Donate it to an animal shelter. OR donate it to a group that helps the homeless. That should make you feel better and move on to the next project.
