Have bookmarked the Wickedly Easy site, looks like a stash buster with quick cutting and piecing. Thank you for posting the link. |
I did loopies, because I thought it would soften the straight angles. I made it out of flannel and it is my favorite quilt.

Love all the quilts. Want to thank all for the different links. Hope mine turns out as super as all of yours did. BrendaK

Love all the quilts ladies, I"ve never did a Y B R either, but I like how something so simple looks so good.

I have never done a YBR quilt either, WOW. Just by using different fabric, they look so different. Looks like I need to put it on my To-Do list.

This is a great go-to pattern for me! (see the four attached photos)
Since the original question was about how they were quilted, all the first one was quilted with a small-ish to medium-scale pantograph. The first one I titled, "Detour on Yellow Brick Road" because I made so many cutting mistakes in my haste to get it done ... and then I hated the starkness of the cream and how unfinished it looked to my eye, later fixing the visual with the trimmed-off scraps from the floor. I LOVE THIS PATTERN! |
