Does anybody know how to use this kind of thread? I bought it a long time ago and it didn't come with instructions. TIA Pam

There have been threads on here using it. Someone made a cute cupcake.

Here is a paragraph to get you started.

Thank you! I even called the quilt shop where I bought it and they didn't know how to use it....but they sold it to me<lol>!! Now I'll go start that blouse for the doll. Thanks again. Pam

It's called Chimize thread. I have used it my bobbin and top thread, both plain and decorative stitches, and even done sashiko embroidery with it for quiltsquares. Then you iron it (I use a very thin press cloth to protect my iron from things that melt and stick) and it shrimks up to 30% depending on weight of fabric.
I works best with thinner fabric like lawn. Would be fun for doing childrens' clothes. I'm not sure is that useful for quilting.

It's the same as Texture Magic. The fabric is pre sewn with the shrink thread. With the thread you can make your own Texture Magic.

I have to say that I like the thread better than the texture magic. Plus it's a lot cheaper. It would be great for the center of a flower. Thanks everyone. I appreciate your help. Pam
