When you sign your quilt to your children. Do you still put your name on it or Mom

I haven't done this yet, but I think it should have both on it so in a couple hundred years from now, lol, our descendants won't have to look up a family tree to see who K's mom was. Not that it really matters but I would like to know who made the quilt hanging in my sewing room and no one can tell me. My grandmother was over 100 when she died and she says she didn't make it. She also doesn't know anything about the baptism gown we found in her house either.

I put my name and the date.

I use permanent fabric pens to make the label on the back of my quilt directly on the fabric. That way no one can remove them without cutting into the quilt. If I mess up I can just sew a cloth label over the mistakes.
