I like UFP for UnFinished Project better than UFO. Objects (to me) shouldn't have so many pieces!

UFO = Un-Finished (quilting) Object. It does take some time to understand the terms used in quilting.

I only need one example of a silly question to prove they exist, true?

Why was six afraid of seven?

Knitette 12-13-2015 02:50 AM

I used to tell students all the time that the only 'silly' question was the unasked one ;)
Merry Christmas!
(Traditionally we don't say, 'Happy Holidays', but that too.)

I'm so glad you asked. I hadn't heard about PIGS or PHDs either. Good to know.

DebraK 12-13-2015 05:09 AM

because, seven eight nine. I love that silly joke. Maybe it's a Bay Area thing ;-)

ctyankee 12-13-2015 05:30 AM

Oh, okay ... I thought it was because seven was after six, but your answer makes more sense!

I can never remember what PIGS stands for, & I think it's because we never use the word "sack," but say "bag" instead. That has to be a regional thing!
