Has anyone purchased one of these? What is your opinion?

Love mine, it was a christmas gift. The attachments can get quite pricey. I found some on clearance at joanns and bought a bunch.

I have one and I just love it. It is so fast and easy. I use it almost daily.

I have one and it is the only way I fold quilt binding now. You need to buy the larger attachment to make binding.

I don't know if it is worth the full price, but if you use a lot of binding or bias tape it would be. Otherwise, if you can get it on sale, I think it is a good investment.

Maybe someone on the board who doesn't like theirs would be willing to sell it to you?

I love mine. I have several of the tips, pick them up with 50% coupons at Joanns. I set it up and make a lot of binding at a time. I've tried the strip cutter too. not sure I really like it. I think I do a better job with a rotary cutter

I didn't like it at first but now I use it for all my binding. It took me a few times to get perfect results but now I get perfect folded binding every time. I cut strips and DGD makes the binding for me when she's here. She thinks it is cool! One thing I learned by practicing, when winding the strips on the spool, keep the binding joined seams going into the tip seam first not seam allowance first. This keeps the strip from skipping or stopping. Once I figured out the little details, the binding strips zip through like butter.

I want one of these, possibly in two weeks when I get paid again.
I should scout out JoAnn's and see if I can get the tips early.

I have had one for over a year, as well as the cutter. I like to use 1/2 inch double fold tape, and can't figure out how to get that size out of the available tips for sale, so it was used once and sits there because its easier to do it by cutting bias strips and doing it the old fashioned way. If I had spent full instead of sale price I would be upset!

I doubt I ever go back to making my binding without this machine. I bought another one on sale for a back up.
