Simplicity Quilter's Classic SW 240

Years ago I bought the subject machine but didn't pursue learning to quilt. Now I intend to start (finally!) and am wondering if anyone has an opinion about this machine. I plan to bring it to a technician for an evaluation since it's been in the box for so long. Thank you.

I hope that your technician can help you find the feet that you will need. Ask him if you have a low or high shank machine. You may have to buy generic feet for your machine.

The Simplicity uses Brother snap on feet, which are readily available.

that's an excellent machine for a new quilter. i used to have two.
(i liked the first one so much, i bought a second - on sale - as a spare.)
it has all the features you'll need until you "graduate" to large quilts.
