Simply the Best Wall Hanging
2 Attachment(s)
I am making this memorial wall hanging from a denim jacket. Which do you like better.... square corners or on point? Light or Dark corners? Also .... any ideas on the quilting? Any help would be great!

I like them on point. What do you like best on HBO?? I enjoy Real Time.

I like the ones on point just like it is.
|
I like the on point version. I remember your previous post and was wondering how you decided to tackle this project. It looks wonderful!!!
|
I concur with on point. :)
|
On point for me also prefer the lighter colour.

I agree with on-point. I like the mixture of light and dark corners, but prefer the light one if you want them all the same.
By comparing to your pins, it looks like this is quite small! For quilting, I would SITD around the triangles to make them pop. Not sure you need anything in the main area where the words are. Maybe a line of small triangles in the blue area around the embroidery, or perhaps just straight-line echos of the "seam" border, about 1/4" apart in that area. Similarly, 1/4 inch echoes around the outside triangles? If you had a variegated thread in the colors of the embroidery, and you are daring, you could maybe do a fill or design in the blue area outside of the triangles. |
On point light corners. Very nice!
|
Definitely light corners on point!
|
I definitely prefer the lighter color.....no preference to square or on point.
|
Without a doubt, on point.

I also like the on point. They are very nice quilts. I am not very good at figuring out the quilting part. Somebody will have some great suggestions
